The Unites States is a country where pets are increasingly more than just household animals; they are family members for many. As such, these little creatures affectionately earned their spots on the gift-giving roster when it comes to holidays, birthdays, or other special occasions. Due to stay-at-home orders and other limitations because of COVID-19, many pet owners turn to the Internet to find just the right gift for their beloved furry friends. Following is part 1 of a list of places online where you are sure to accomplish this mission.
1. Amazon
Amazon needs no introduction to the majority of Americans. When it comes to pet gifts, the retail giant is sure to cover your needs just like with most other purchases. Whether you’re a Prime member or not, you can shop from thousands of gift options and have it at your doorstep in a few days at most.
2. Chewy
Chewy is basically the “Amazon for pets.” From pet food, to toys and supplements, this e-commerce platform is especially built for the pet-lover. You can make one-time purchases or create regular subscriptions depending on your needs. It sure is worth checking it out.
3. Etsy
If you want something more creative or “artsy” for your furry friend, Etsy may be the way to go. On this platform, a lot of artists and smaller sellers congregate to showcase their products. You can find some one-of-a-kind items if that is what you are after.
4. Facebook Marketplace
More and more people decide to use Facebook for more than just social media purposes. Its Marketplace features both regular people like you and I, and actual vendors selling new and used goods.
